Sebastian thinks that his sister, Viola, is dead and she thinks he is dead as well, because of a shipwreck they were in where they both washed up ashore alone. After washing up on the shore, Antonio, the captain of the boat, saved his life and cared for him until he was better. Antonio then developed a crush on Sebastian. Sebastian doesn't love Antonio, but he thinks of them as good friends. When Sebastian is better, he leaves Antonio and goes to Orsino's castle. Everybody thinks that Sebastian is Cesario and Sir Toby begins to fight him. Olivia gets mad at Sir Toby because she loves Cesario. Sebastian thinks he is dreaming since Olivia, who is pretty, just loves him and he has no idea why he had no problem with going along with it! Sebastian and Olivia get married because she thinks he is Cesario.

Sebastian was asked by Olivia to get married to her, and since she is very beautiful, he agreed only knowing her for 5 minutes.

"(to OLIVIA) So comes it, lady, you have been mistook.

But nature to her bias drew in that.
You would have been contracted to a maid;
Nor are you therein, by my life, deceived.
You are betrothed both to a maid and man." [10]
